Monks are sacred warriors who channel divine power through sheer force of will. Healing waves, mantras of protection and attacks empowered with holy might are all within their purview. Most monks are skilled in the ways of unarmed combat, whereas others can be trained to use a variety of weapons to aid them. Monks are mainly melee class characters with lightning fast attack speeds. Single target, most enemies don’t stand a chance, but even in groups a monk has the ability to deal short area-of-effect damage with elemental damage from palm strikes or kicks.
The Monk’s weapons of choice will be fist weapons and combat staves. The class focuses on dealing significant melee damage while providing team bonuses via Paladin-esque auras to their team.
