When you are creating a character in Shaiya, obviously, you need to create a name, sex, class and a visual appearance for your character. You need to choose a difficulty setting for your gameplay experience. Down below are the gameplay modes as follows
Easy Mode
This mode can be selected when players who has no experience in playing MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).
- Level cap is restricted to 30 compared to the normal mode difficulty which was 60
- You’ll gain 2x experience
- You cannot join nor create a guild
- You cannot use labeled items such as Dread, Legend or Goddess
- 5 stat points and 3 skill points per level
- No special skills are available
Normal Mode
This mode can be selected when players who have enough experience in playing MMORPG’s
- Maximum level is 60
- Able to use items from Easy Mode plus Dread items
- 5 stat points and 3 skill points per level
Hard Mode
This mode will have the leveling requirements are difficult but Status and Skill Bonuses are increased.
- More experience required to level up in Hard mode than in previous modes
- Players must reach level 30 in Hard Mode before the Ultimate Mode will be unlocked
- Level cap is 60
- Able to use all items from Normal mode plus Legend items
- 7 stat points and 4 skill points per level
- Requires level 40 normal mode to unlock
Ultimate Mode
The very difficult mode in Shaiya, this mode takes a lot of skill and patience while playing on this mode. WARNING: Characters who’ll die in the Ultimate Mode will be deleted if not resurrected within 3 minutes.
- More experience is required to level up in Ultimate Mode than in Hard Mode.
- Level cap is 60
- 9 stat points and 5 skill points per level
- Able to use all items throughout the game, that includes devastating Goddess weapons
- Able to use some skills available only in Ultimate Mode characters
- If your character dies in the game, you will only have 3 minutes to be resurrected or your character will be deleted
- Requires level 40 to unlock the mode
Character Death results in character deletion unless
- A level 31+ priest/oracle with Resurrection level 2, that will resurrect you
- A target resurrection rune is used on you
- You have a resurrection rune in your inventory
- You are using a continuous resurrection rune
