Adrenaline Misfits is a Kinect-based children’s video game developed by KONAMI. It is a standard downhill extreme sports game where players get to be in 7 unbelievable fantasy worlds to compete in a series of snowboarding competitions.
Kinect’s sensor allows players to use their own body as the controller. They can lean forward to speed up, bend their torso to turn or flip and hold out their arms after a jump to glide. All these motion-based controls make this game suitable for everyone. Players also get to battle bosses wherein they can obtain their boards and use their unique features to win more races. One innovative feature of Adrenaline Misfits is a feature called natal sound control wherein cheering friends or family members can increase the speed of the player.
There are also challenges to keep players entertained. These include time challenges, balloon buster, fly distance, big air, stadium mini-games, half pipe, terrain park and more.
